FREE WI-FI – The entire Austin Convention Center has complimentary wireless throughout the facility and is one of the most advanced centers in the U.S. – 7,000 computers have been used at the same time.

MORE NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES – this year’s program is designed to facilitate opportunities for more interaction with your peers – lots of conversation space and a chance to have lunch and/or dinner with colleagues with similar research interests. Colleagues from the University of Texas plan to have an information booth to provide you with details about where to find cheap eats and other activities around town.

CAREER INFORMATION CENTER AND LUNCHEON – Saturday, July 21 lunch time will provide you the chance to post a resume, check the available jobs, chat with leaders in the field and meet with companies that have current openings – all in the exhibit hall.

ABSTRACTS AND PROGRAM INFORMATION AVAILABLE ON YOUR SMART PHONE OR TABLET – If you don’t want to carry your program book around this year you will be able to access the information on a smart phone or tablet.

CHILDCARE – Efforts are being made to provide an onsite childcare service but if this is not possible attendees will be able to apply for a grant from ASPB to subsidize childcare costs.
